Hoymiles LB-16D-G2 is a low-voltage energy storage battery based on LiFePO₄ (LFP) “deep cycle” technology, designed for safe and long-term operation in residential installations and small energy storage systems. A single battery provides 16.08 kWh of energy and a capacity of 314 Ah, and thanks to parallel operation the system can be scaled up to 15 units (241 kWh).
LB-16D-G2 delivers stable performance over a wide temperature range of -20°C to 55°C, and the built-in smart BMS provides multi-level protection functions. Communication is via CAN, and key electrical parameters include a voltage range of 42–57.6 V, a maximum continuous charge/discharge current of 157 A, and a maximum charge/discharge power of 8.04 kW. The manufacturer also indicates a recommended DoD of 90% for more usable energy.
