BMS control module TGM-48 for GO Battery Tigo
Manufacturer: Tigo Energy
INDEX: 705-400000-0001
Tigo TGM-48 is a BMS (Battery Management System) control module designed for the high-voltage Tigo GO Battery EU energy storage system. It acts as the control unit for the entire battery stack and is a basic component required to build a GO Battery energy storage system.
The BMS is responsible for supervising the operation of the battery modules and for communication with the other system components. It monitors battery operating parameters and supports safe management of the charging and discharging process.
The TGM-48 works with Tigo TGB-M3.6 battery modules and Tigo EI Inverter inverters. Communication with the system is carried out via CAN 2.0 and RS485, enabling data exchange between the battery and the inverter.
In three-phase systems, the GO Battery energy storage system can consist of 3 to 13 battery modules. For configurations with more than 9 modules, a second battery column and the appropriate expansion kit are required.
Key features of the Tigo TGM-48:
- BMS control module for the Tigo GO Battery EU system,
- compatible with TGB-M3.6 battery modules,
- designed for use with Tigo EI Inverter inverters,
- communication via CAN 2.0 / RS485,
- supports three-phase systems with 3 to 13 battery modules,
- modular design allowing expansion of the energy storage capacity,
- kit includes BMS, base, bracket, screws and cables.
How to build a Tigo GO Battery energy storage system?
A complete three-phase Tigo GO energy storage system consists of:
- Tigo EI Inverter – a hybrid inverter responsible for integrating the energy storage system with the PV installation and the grid,
- Tigo EI Link TSS-3PS – the central system connection module equipped with CCA and ATS,
- Tigo TGM-48 – the BMS module responsible for managing battery operation,
- Tigo TGB-M3.6 – battery modules with a nominal capacity of 3.68 kWh each.
In a three-phase system, between 3 and 13 TGB-M3.6 modules can be used. For configurations with more than 9 battery modules, a second battery column and the Tigo TGB-A expansion kit are required.
