The alternator control cable allows the BMS 12/200 charge control function to be used together with a VE.Bus BMS. The BMS 12/200 will limit the alternator charging current to a safe value and stop the charging process in the event of an alarm (the lithium-ion battery communicates with the VE.Bus BMS and VE.Bus).
