The STP T2 40 YPV surge protector series is a group of devices designed for installation in electrical distribution boards of photovoltaic systems on the DC supply side. Type 2/Class II, 3-pole surge protectors are intended for discharging induced voltage surges (8/20 μs) and comply with IEC 61643-31 and EN 50539-11 standards.
The STP T2 40 YPV surge protector uses a thermodynamic disconnection system, eliminating the need for additional backup protection – high resistance to short-circuit effects. DIN rail mounting. Ideal for use in systems with any PV generator.
