The energy storage system featuring a 20 kW SofarSolar HYD inverter and a 20.48 kWh BTS Smart battery set is a Plug & Play solution that can be integrated into a new hybrid installation. The system is easy to install and configure.

The system uses four high-voltage BTS 5K Smart modules based on LiFePO4 technology. The modules feature an integrated HEATING SYSTEM that supports battery operation in low-temperature conditions.

The SofarSolar energy storage system enables better use of the energy generated by the photovoltaic installation and increases independence from the public electricity grid. Surplus energy is stored in the BTS 5K Smart modules and used during periods of increased demand, for example in the evening, at night, during cloudy weather or in the early morning.

INTEGRATED BATTERY MODULE HEATING
The BTS 5K Smart modules are equipped with an integrated heating system that helps maintain the cells within an appropriate temperature range. The solution supports the preparation of the batteries for charging in low-temperature conditions.

CHARGE THE BATTERIES WHEN ELECTRICITY IS CHEAPEST
The user can set a battery charging and discharging schedule, for example charging during off-peak tariff hours. This makes it possible to manage energy costs more effectively, regardless of the current output of the photovoltaic installation.

BACKUP POWER SECURITY
In the event of a failure of the primary power supply from the public grid, the SofarSolar system can supply selected loads in EPS mode or operate in off-grid mode.

MAXIMUM CAPACITY OF A SINGLE SET
The system uses four BTS 5K Smart modules, which is the maximum number of modules supported in a single set. Due to the E20 configuration, the batteries are arranged in two stacks using an additional BTS 5K Extension base.
