GO Junction integration module for heat pumps and EVC Tigo
Manufacturer: Tigo Energy
INDEX: 303-400000-0001
Tigo GO Junction is a communication and integration module designed for the Tigo GO Optimized ESS system. It enables the Tigo system to be connected with a heat pump and a GO EV Charger, expanding the possibilities for intelligent energy management within the building.
GO Junction works with heat pumps equipped with a potential-free contact, allowing their operation to be controlled depending on the availability of energy from the photovoltaic installation, the state of charge of the energy storage system and the amount of energy drawn from the grid. The user can manage the operation of the heat pump via the Tigo Energy Intelligence app, using manual, smart and scheduled modes.
The module features several communication ports, allowing the system to be connected simultaneously to a heat pump and a Tigo GO EV Charger. GO Junction communicates with the Tigo EI Inverter via a communication cable and acts as an expansion module for additional devices within the system.
By integrating electrical loads with the Tigo system, it is possible to make better use of surplus PV energy, reduce grid consumption and manage energy use in the building more flexibly.
Key features of Tigo GO Junction:
- integration module for the Tigo GO Optimized ESS system,
- enables integration with a heat pump,
- supports heat pumps with a potential-free contact,
- allows simultaneous connection of a Tigo GO EV Charger,
- several COM communication ports,
- remote heat pump control via Tigo Energy Intelligence,
- supports schedules and intelligent load management,
- compatible with Tigo EI Inverter inverters.
What function does Tigo GO Junction perform?
Tigo GO Junction acts as a communication expansion module for the Tigo system. It connects to the EI Inverter and then enables the integration of additional loads such as a heat pump and an electric vehicle charger.
A typical configuration may include:
- Tigo EI Inverter – the inverter acting as the central element of the energy management system,
- Tigo GO Junction – communication module for integrating additional devices,
- a heat pump with a potential-free contact,
- Tigo GO EV Charger – an optional electric vehicle charger,
- Tigo Energy Intelligence – the platform for monitoring, configuration and system management.
GO Junction enables information about PV production, the state of charge of the energy storage system and grid energy consumption to be used for more efficient load control and increased self-consumption of energy.
