Solis inverters from the S6-EH3P K10-NV-YD-H series are three-phase, high-voltage hybrid energy storage inverters designed for commercial and industrial (C&I) applications, available in 75 / 80 / 99.9 / 100 / 125 kW power variants. The devices combine on-grid and off-grid operation, offer two independently controlled battery ports and high charging/discharging capability, making them a suitable choice for PV+ESS systems focused on self-consumption, backup power and peak shaving.
The S6EH3P100K10-NV-YD-H inverter is equipped with 10 MPPTs (each with a maximum current of up to 42 A) and supports up to 2× PV oversizing relative to the rated inverter power, providing greater flexibility when designing systems with modern high-current PV modules. On the energy storage side, the inverter provides 2 battery ports with a maximum current of 100 A + 100 A, while the wide voltage range enables compatibility with various battery types, including modules with capacities of 100–314 Ah.
In off-grid mode, the inverter provides a dedicated backup port and is designed to handle loads with high inrush currents. Its declared overload capability includes 160% for 200 ms and short-term backup port overload of up to 2.0× the rated power. Switching between on-grid and off-grid operation takes place in <10 ms, helping maintain uninterrupted power supply to critical loads.
The S6-EH3P(75–125)K10-NV-YD-H series supports advanced control scenarios, including operation with a weak grid and genset-hybrid systems, demand management, anti-reverse flow and dynamic reactive power compensation to improve the power factor and potentially reduce reactive energy charges. The inverter also features a utility bypass function, allowing backup loads to be supplied directly from the grid, as well as integration with the SolisCloud platform for remote monitoring, control and diagnostics.
For larger installations, up to 6 units can be connected in parallel as standard, while the system supports up to 10 inverters, providing a total power of up to 1.0 MW (for systems with more than 6 units, the manufacturer recommends the Solis STS cabinet). The inverter supports both DC and AC coupling, simplifying system upgrades and expansions, while its patented cooling technology is designed to ensure stable operation even at high ambient temperatures.
