KOSTAL PLENTICORE G3 10 kW is a three-phase hybrid inverter designed for residential photovoltaic installations and systems working with high-voltage energy storage. It is the mid-range power variant in the PLENTICORE G3 M class, intended for installations with higher energy demand where both high operating power and future system expansion are important.

The 10 kW model can operate as a PV, hybrid or battery inverter. Battery functionality can also be activated at a later stage, allowing the system to be installed initially as a standard PV system and later expanded with a battery. PLENTICORE G3 features three independent MPPT trackers, while one of the DC inputs can be used either as a PV input or as a battery input.

10 kW with the option of upgrading to 12.5 kW

The PLENTICORE G3 10 kW version is the second power level of the M-class device. If the installation is expanded further, the inverter can be digitally upgraded to 12.5 kW without replacing the device. The upgrade is carried out by activating the appropriate KOSTAL function.

The 10 kW model is a versatile M-class option, providing more power than the base 8.5 kW version while retaining the option of further increasing system power in the future.

Higher power for PV and energy storage

PLENTICORE G3 10 kW features three DC inputs and three independent MPPTs. DC3 can be used to connect either a PV array or a compatible energy storage system. For the 10 kW version, the maximum PV generator power is 15 kWp, while the maximum battery input power is 13.5 kW.

Once the battery function has been activated, the inverter can store surplus energy generated by the PV system and use it at a later time, increasing self-consumption and energy management flexibility.

Three-phase backup power up to 12.5 kVA

PLENTICORE G3 supports three-phase backup power. When combined with an energy storage system and a suitable external switching device, the system can continue supplying loads during a grid outage.

In the M class, the inverter can provide up to 12.5 kVA of rated apparent power in backup mode, offering sufficient reserve for more demanding residential installations.

Intelligent energy management

The inverter is equipped with a self-learning shade management system, dynamic power control and functions for measuring and controlling energy flows. Support for Modbus / SunSpec enables integration with automation and Smart Home systems.

Communication interfaces include WLAN, two LAN ports and four digital outputs. The system can be monitored via KOSTAL Solar Portal and the KOSTAL Solar App, while the AutoUpdate function allows the inverter software to be updated automatically.
