BTS 5K Smart is a high-voltage battery module used to build modern BTS E5–E20 energy storage systems with a usable capacity ranging from approximately 5 to nearly 20 kWh. The module is equipped with an integrated heating system that supports battery operation in low-temperature conditions. For operation, it must be connected to the BTS 5K-BDU control unit.
BTS E5–E20 Smart energy storage systems consist of 1 to 4 high-voltage battery modules manufactured using LiFePO4 technology. They have been designed for use as residential energy storage systems. Their compact and modular design facilitates installation, operation and future system expansion.
The integrated heating system of the BTS 5K Smart modules prepares the batteries for operation at low temperatures, making the solution suitable for installation in unheated areas such as garages, utility rooms or technical rooms. The energy storage systems are compatible with selected Sofar hybrid inverters from the HYD and ME series and help increase the self-consumption of energy generated by a photovoltaic system.
