LB 5S-G2 series are low-voltage, deep-cycle batteries built using LFP technology, making them safe and durable, designed for energy storage systems from 5 to 20 kWh. Their main purpose is to increase self-consumption in households by storing surplus energy generated by a private PV installation during periods of low usage, but also from the grid, e.g. during off-peak tariff times.
Hoymiles energy storage systems using the LB 5S-G2 battery series are simple in structure, modular, and easy to expand and maintain. They are specifically designed for residential use. The IP66 protection rating allows flexible installation options, greatly simplifying the commissioning process. The system operates in a wide temperature range, from -20 to +50°C. All operating parameters are available online via the S-Miles Cloud app.
