SOFAR HYD-5K-LT1 is a three-phase hybrid inverter with a rated power of 5 kW, part of the new LT1 series designed for use with low-voltage battery storage systems. The device combines the functions of a photovoltaic inverter and an energy storage system, enabling efficient use of PV energy, increased self-consumption and backup power supply.
The inverter operates with battery storage systems in the 40–60 V DC voltage range and provides a maximum charging power of up to 12 kW and discharging power of up to 5 kW. Two independent MPPT trackers with an input current of up to 40 A each enable compatibility with modern high-power PV modules, while PV oversizing of up to 200% provides greater flexibility when designing the system.
SOFAR HYD-5K-LT1 features a BACKUP power supply with a switching time of approximately 4 ms. The inverter can temporarily deliver up to 200% of its rated power for 10 seconds and supports 100% three-phase unbalanced loads, making it suitable for supplying demanding loads.
The LT1 series also supports generator integration and parallel connection of multiple inverters. The IP66 protection rating and integrated protection features allow the inverter to be used in demanding installation environments.
