SOFAR PowerMagic Battery Cabinet 258 kWh is a high-voltage battery cabinet designed to operate as an element of the modular PowerMagic energy storage system for commercial and industrial applications. The unit is used to expand the energy capacity of an energy storage system and works together with the Energy Storage Cabinet , which contains the inverter (PCS), EMS system and AC connection components.

The Battery Cabinet is not a standalone energy storage system – it represents the battery section of an ESS/BESS system, responsible solely for storing electrical energy.

The cabinet is equipped with lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO₄ / LFP) battery cells, providing a high level of safety, long service life and resistance to intensive operation. The integrated BMS monitors battery operating parameters and communicates with the higher-level PowerMagic control system.
