Solar inverter S6-GU3P350K06-EV-ND 350 kW 3F Solis
Manufacturer: Solis
INDEX: S6-GU3P350K06-EV-ND
Solis S6-GU3P350K06-EV-ND is a three-phase utility-class grid-tied inverter, designed for large photovoltaic installations where high efficiency, DC-side design flexibility and reliable outdoor operation are key. The unit operates on a 1500 V DC architecture and delivers 350 kW with an 800 V AC output, making it a suitable choice for modern PV plants and utility-scale projects. Maximum efficiency reaches up to 99%, helping minimise conversion losses.
The inverter provides a high level of freedom in selecting strings and modules thanks to its 6 MPPT configuration and 30 inputs, as well as the option to oversize the PV array with a >150% DC/AC ratio. A high MPPT current of up to 80 A supports modern modules, including bifacial (e.g. 182 and 210 series), which translates into better compatibility with today’s designs and higher yields in practice.
In terms of safety and operation, the device is prepared for harsh environments thanks to an IP66 protection rating and C5-M anti-corrosion protection. Service-support features that reduce failure risk are also included, such as intelligent AC/DC terminal temperature detection, remote DC switch release and solutions that increase safety on the string side.
Solis S6-GU3P350K06-EV-ND inverters offer advanced diagnostic capabilities, including intelligent string monitoring and I/V curve-based diagnostics, as well as online insulation fault detection for each MPPT. To optimise costs and simplify infrastructure, the inverter supports PLC communication, very fast reactive power response (20 ms) and cable connection options aimed at reducing AC-side costs.
Key product features:
Performance
- 30 inputs, 6 MPPT and a >150% DC/AC ratio (greater design flexibility and higher yields)
- Max. MPPT current 80 A – compatible with bifacial modules (182 and 210 series)
- Patented heat exchange technology – continuous 5% increase in output power at high temperature
Safety
- IP66 and C5-M anti-corrosion protection (operation in harsh outdoor conditions)
- Intelligent AC/DC terminal temperature detection
- Safety functions: intelligent string interruption, remote DC switch release, active protection mechanisms
Intelligence
- Intelligent string monitoring and diagnostics based on the I/V curve
- Online insulation fault detection for each MPPT – faster issue identification
- Environmental functions: low-temperature anti-freeze agent, reverse dust removal, in-cabinet dehumidification
Cost savings
- Fast reactive power response 20 ms – may replace an SVG
- PLC communication – fewer comms cables and lower construction costs
- Support for connection with an aluminium conductor 400 mm² – reduced AC cable cost
“Utility class” (often also: utility-scale) refers to devices intended for large PV power plants/solar farms connected to the distribution or transmission grid – i.e. for utility applications rather than residential use.
In practice, this means such an inverter is designed for:
- high power and high voltage (e.g. 1500 V DC, 800 V AC), typical for PV plants,
- grid operator requirements (reactive power control, fast response, grid regulation support),
- integration with monitoring/SCADA and advanced diagnostics,
- outdoor operation in harsh conditions (sealing, corrosion resistance),
- easier servicing and high availability (protective functions, string issue detection, etc.).
