SolarEdge S650B-1GM4MBM power optimizer helps increase the energy production of each module in a photovoltaic installation. Optimization is performed at the individual module level, helping to reduce losses caused by differences in module parameters, dirt, manufacturing tolerances and partial shading.
The device has been designed to work with compatible SolarEdge inverters. Independent maximum power point tracking, MPPT, for each module enables efficient system operation on complex and multi-faceted roofs and allows better use of the available installation area.
SolarEdge Sense Connect technology monitors connection conditions at connector level and enables the detection of abnormal conditions that could lead to an electrical arc. The patented SafeDC™ function automatically reduces the output voltage of each optimizer to a safe level when the inverter is switched off or the optimizer is disconnected from the system.

The different output cable lengths enable the connection to be made close to the optimizer housing, reducing loose hanging of connectors and their exposure to humid weather conditions.
