AIKO Modules of the Neostar 2S series are built using newly designed Type N cells and All Back Contact technology. These cells are made with silver-free metallic materials, and the contact grid is located on the rear side. The absence of silver directly contributes to more durable electrical connections, which extends the life of the cells and the entire PV module. Rear connections also allow for a larger front surface area for light absorption. The All Back Contact technology results in a lower temperature coefficient, greater resistance to both low and high ambient temperatures, and thus high performance and durability. Additionally, Half-cut technology was used to reduce power loss, resulting in an extra output gain of 5 to 10 W.

High-quality type N silicon wafers and optimised All Back Contact (ABC) technology also ensure low power degradation in the first year of use — no more than 1%, and in the following years no more than 0.35%. This performance enabled a 30-year linear power output warranty.

AIKO 465 W is built from 108 monocrystalline photovoltaic cells of type N housed in an anodised, lightweight, corrosion-resistant aluminium alloy frame and covered with high-transparency glass. All this contributes to high efficiency, performance, and greater power compared to type P PV modules, as well as a 25-year product warranty.

1200 mm cables from the IP68 junction box are terminated with MC4 connectors. The module is certified according to IEC61215, IEC61730, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
